Iyengar Yoga In this popular style devloped by B.K.S Iyengar much attention is payed to alignment and precision in postures. Slower movement into longer held poses and attention to breathing improves strength, flexibility, endurance and coordination.

Hatha Yoga is a gentle, moderately-paced practice with a focus on breathing and mindfulness and cultivating inner awareness through movement with the breath and a playful exploration of the postures.

Yin Yoga is a deeply meditative practice of slow, longer held poses, recognising and releasing layers of habitual tension especially around the hips and along the spine.

Tai Chi and Qiqong: These graceful practices move you through simple standing postures coordinated with the breath, freeing the flow of energy or 'chi' through the entire body, creating peace, improving balance and strengthening body and mind.

Vinyasa Yoga is also referred to as Flow yoga as it moves you smoothly from one strong pose to another, coordinating breath and movement to create a purifying internal heat. Please note that previous yoga experience is required for participation in the Wednesday evening Vinyasa class.

Kundalini Yoga moves you through a prescribed sequence of energising postures and breathing practices incorporating mudras (hand positions) and mantra (chanting) as taught by Yogi Bhajan leaving you feeling stronger, clearer, more focussed and aware.
